Someone sent me a clip of Steve Trevino from this stand-up routine and it was funny enough for me to seek out the entire program. It was filmed in San Antonio, Texas before a home town crowd, with Steve performing an every man routine on the trials and tribulations of being married and raising a family. Affectionately referring to his wife as Captain Evil, Steve takes us on a whirlwind tour of buying furniture, sharing salad in a restaurant, taking out the trash, doing the laundry and 'getting divorced every six months'. He has some genuinely funny observations while bringing a working man's perspective to bear on his audience, which generally looked like a middle class mix. Personally, I'd go and see the guy in person if he ever came around to my neck of the woods, which is probably the best compliment I can give him.
Plot summary
Texas. The home of barbecue, The Alamo, and Steve Treviño. In his latest special, Til Death, America's favorite husband gives us a bitingly honest take on the day-to-day joy of marriage, kids, and living life with your best friend.

Hysterically and Real Life Comedy at Its Best
Steve was very funny and I could relate to everything he said. Being married is not easy, but when a comedian like Steve offers his take on it, it becomes easier to understand and share the comradery. Enjoy his show as much as my husband and I did.

So funny, so relatable!!
It is refreshing to get back to true comedy. Thank you Steve Trevino for making my husband laugh at the crazy things that wife's do. Move over Rodney Carrington, Mr. Trevino is on his way up.
