Reality is lost on this movie

Lifetime stays consistent with this movie, by showing production value is cheap, along with the plot that makes no sense or trying to understand how some sequences of action can actually take place. The actors were good enough, but it was the writing, directing, and the production that brought it down. Bodyguard in danger by trying to bed the guy. I know Charly was the protagonist, but I found myself disliking her and even though I don't condone Diane trying to kill her, I understand why. She is a total narcissist. She almost got her bodyguard killed by trying to bed him. This is why it was an unbelievable premise.

Surprisingly enjoyable romantic suspense/thriller

If you watch this film expecting a thriller, I think you'll probably be disappointed. The mastermind behind the heroine's muder threats is so obvious, and some scenes might not be realistic, but I didn't care much about that.

But if you watch it wanting a steamy romantic suspense/romantic thriller movie, I think it will deliver.

The chemistry between the main actor (a tall, hunky bodyguard) and the actress (a tough, capable CEO lady) are good. I actually enjoyed their banter. There are also some steamy (but tasteful) scenes and shirtless scene for our hunky former-Marine bodyguard. The actor playing the male lead is one fine man!

If you like the falling for one's bodyguard trope, I think you will enjoy this.

We Need More Women CEOs Like Charly!!!

Charly Huxton is driven to succeed. She is the CEO of a large sportswear corporation in Los Angeles. She has a vision for the organization, and she is a taskmaster on the job. Early in the film, there is a disagreement between Charly and Lark Embridge, who co-founded the company. That argument is portentous in the unfolding of the action.

It is clear that Charly has made some enemies while rising up the corporate ladder. After a bomb threat directed against her, the board determines that the intrepid Charly needs a bodyguard. Enter Jonathan Makepeace, an extremely efficient former Marine.

The sparks begin to fly almost instantly between Charly and Jonathan. As the plot thickens, the romantic connection quickly supersedes the narrative strand of the threat against Charly. In fact, that subplot was rather routine. The strength of the film was in the chemistry between Charly and Jonathan.

The filmmakers brought an attractive look to the production values, especially in costuming. As appropriate to a sportswear outfit, everyone was nattily attired. They even looked great as well when the garments began to fly off in such locales as the men's room and the bedroom.

Still, the film remained for the most part good, wholesome entertainment as the key relationship evolved between the CEO and her bodyguard. More CEOs like Charly Huxton are a top priority in today's corporate world!
