I have followed and loved Jo Koy for a long time. This special was only comedy for about half the show then a full tantrum about not being picked up by Netflix for what seemed like an hour.
Jo, what do you say to comedians like Jorge Lopez, Carlos Mencia, Russel Peters, the Kings of Comedy and a slew of other comedians who aren't white and have had specials on Netflix and network TV shows. Someone saying no to you isn't systemic racism its just life. Honestly the special who asked you not to have the accent was probably worried about getting fined or canceled because of your joke. You have lived in LA to long.
Please you fans are begging you to do comedy, we love comedy to laugh and get away from reality not to hear a Joe Biden 60 minutes interview.

Another celebrity claiming racism when his net worth is over 5 million...
I thought this show was funny until he brought up systemic racism. It occurs about an hour into the special. Jo Koy is just another celebrity claiming that white people have it easier in this country when his net worth is more than 98% of white people in America. And the sad part is, the majority of Americans will sympathize and agree with him because this country is filled with mindless minions who idolize Hollywood and its "elites." Boy do I wish I have Jo Koy's problems, let me tell you. So if you're white, especially if you're male, and you want to feel guilty, please by all means watch this.

Paid actors in the front for his joke. I like Jo koi but this was one of the worst stand ups ever. Laughed twice, force laughs and not even laughs maybe a chuckle. I wish I never seen the special because it made me think he lost it. Maybe all he had was making fun of his mom raising him and child. This will be the last time I watch one of his stand ups and I'm glad I didn't see his movie. Because if this shows where he is at in comedy then I rather move on and just remember the laughs I had from his previous specials. Thanks for trying but maybe you should get a writer now.

I have to agree with crown of gold on here actually......... despite all of these negative reviews towards crown of gold............. the comedy was OKAY.......... nothing really funny that stood out............ i was almost annoyed by the hyperactive energy actually!!!!! made me too want to turn it off about halfway through although i sat through it until then end.......... all i can really say is......... I don't know why people are jumping on me. And really, it don't matter. I am far from a Bible basher and the reason my name is CrownOfGold is because my son, who died last year of COVID gave me a Burger King crown two days before his death and he said he would see me in heaven - and that I was the best dad in the world and when I get to heaven I will have a crown of gold. As far as the comedy special, I downloaded it again after reading all of your reviews, and my opinion stays the same. I'm just not really a fan of his comedy, plain and simple. I do however love George Carlin and Margaret Cho. So please, don't come to judge someone who has an opinion. I'm just not a fan. Love him all you want, no ridicule from me. But I'm just giving an honest opinion, an honest review, and I'm sure that others out there feel the exact way that I do. As far as the money factor, his net worth, really .. I don't care. Money is money and it doesn't influence me as to a person's actual worth. Let him do his thing. I just don't find the guy funny. That's all.

If only Jo Koy were actually funny, I may have enjoyed it. Saw this on Netflix. Wasn't a fan. Turned it off about after 7 minutes. Just keeping it real. Dude needs to get a real job. That's all.
