Plot summary
In June of this year we were fortunate enough to return to Mexico City for three sold out shows at Foro Sol Stadium and with 155,000 of you there over the three nights, we knew it would be extra special. So we asked our friend Wayne Isham to join us with a film crew and the results of that crazy, magical, most memorable long weekend are shown here on this single disc pressing.

Metallica At Heir Best
It is a fantastic mix of music with songs off of every album except St. Anger. Great mix of Death Magnetic and classic tallica tunes. The addition of Robert Trujillo in combination with Hetfield getting sober has made the band sound much better than they did throughout the 90's. These guys don't show their age on stage and kick maximum ass. Tearing into songs like Disposable Heros and Dyers Eve and pulling them off like it's 1986. My only real complaint is excessive fan footage. It seems like there are as many shots of audience members screaming as there are of the band. I realize the director wants to capture the live experience, but I'm watching this to see Metallica. It also suffers from the MTV generation rapid cutting. It's hard to find a shot that lasts more that a second. But if you can ignore that, it's a great Metallica experience. There's plenty for die hard old fans who only like KEA-MOP and for the new fans there's a good amount of Death Magnetic. Metallica rules.
